Life as I know it.

I wish I could just SHOW you what my schedule looks like… but honestly it would be a pain to go through and delete all of the text to make it more anonymous. Work has made me lazy. Not lazy at work, but in every other aspect of life. My energy is being sucked out of my by this vortex called life and I want it back!

I wake up before the sun. The last time I did that regularly I was 18, and young and… stupid apparently. This is probably my least favorite thing ever.

Then I go to the gym for an hour.

Shower. Cause I smell.

And then from 9 am until 8 pm (9 pm on Mondays) I am FREAKING BUSY!

Guys. I need a break. And not like a weekend, but like… a week long hiatus from everything. I had no idea how crazy it would be with 4 classes and a full time internship. But now I do. And I know I should’ve planned this better. So umm… yeah.

That’s my story. It is 1 am right now. I should sleep. But I don’t waaaant to. But I doooo… but there is so much to do!

/end whining

Continue the fun!

  1. Hang in there! At the end of it all, you'll feel like you've accomplished and grown so much 🙂 And way to go on working out! It takes a lot of dedication to get up extra early to do it 🙂

  2. I just saw your purse post on Petit Elefant and had to come over here. You are FUNNY! 🙂

I love this post, too. Sounds like my week, except mine revolves around school drop offs and pick ups and not showering for TWO HOURS after my workout because I'm so freaking busy. Oy. Those lucky people at the grocery store just love me. At least I get aisles and checkouts all to myself. 🙂

  3. Girl, I feel you! I worked full time and went to undergrad and graduate school full time and there were times when I literally didn't think I was going to make it through. Like, thought there was no way I could hold it together. I wasn't necessarily stressed, just kind of amazed that one lil' human could be so busy!

But you'll get through it! What helped me the most was making a schedule and sticking to it like an anal retentive weirdo. That inflexibility gave me *more* time in the end. I never would have been able to go to concerts/go on dates/go out dancing a few times a week if I wasn't tenaciously committed to a reasonable schedule. The best part is that you are working out every morning, which helps so much in terms of energy. No matter how busy I got my gym time was non-negotiable, and I know that time of just getting it all out kept me sane.

It will be so worth it in the end, and then you can be all "what, I'm just totally a rockstar, it's what I do ya'll" 🙂
