Ya know how I recently wrote about being unable to pass up a hand made blanket?
Well… it’s happened again.

The one of the left is 2 round granny squares, bound in white, while the one on the right is full granny squares made of mixed yarns, bound in black with a pink border between the two final black borders. The second one has the regular polyester blend yarns, but some squares have rounds of wool in them. You can tell the blanket has been washed in a washing machine before because the wool has started to felt.

Ginny loved walking all of these. They are a bit bigger than the ones I bought last time. The one on the left was $10, while the one on the right was $9.
I also recently pulled out a yellow shawl my grandmother crocheted for me as a baby, and all together I’ve got quite the collection hanging out next to my fire place. No worries, we won’t be lighting fires any time soon… and the need for blankets is pretty minimal too right now. They are best for playing peek-a-boo and making little tents.

Every time I walk past this pile my heart gets giddy! B-man keeps laughing at me, but I think the happiness is rubbing off on him too.
