I’m so sorry Facebook is stressing you out. I find myself hiding people when I see negative comments or statements on Facebook. There is so much negativity in the world, we really don’t need even more filtered in through our “friends” on social media. I hope you make a decision that works well for you!!

Oh Jess. What a scary experience. I’m so glad you are okay. I have been having similar feelings lately about people all around me dying or being sick and told they are going to die. It makes me want to hug Ben and my kids more. Life is so fragile and precious. I hate that I waste time being upset or sad. Thank you for this blog post.

I know what you mean about making friends. I’m trying too, definitely going out of my comfort zone. It seems like as I get older it gets harder. Oh, and I can also relate with spending time with the husband… we have completely different work schedules so we don’t even have a day off together, we had our first one in 4 months this past weekend and we enjoyed the heck out of it!!!! I hope you are able to find a good friend soon!

Look at your cake!! It’s perfect!!! So many cute things here.

I think gender reveal is a really sweet idea especially when you’re not having your first child and people want to celebrate but you don’t necessarily “need” or want a baby shower. And I love seeing the pictures of them because people get so creative.

I’ve also seen people do what’s called a “Sip and See” where you wait until after the baby is born and then everyone gets to meet the baby and celebrate and I think that’s almost more fun because while the anticipation is amazing getting to see and hold the new baby is really all I want to do, haha.

We don’t have very many toys at all…hardly any, really. But this Christmas we are donating all but 6 (3 toys per kid) because I know we’ll get a new supply for the holiday season.

I hate children’s toys but I realize that they do serve a purpose. But we don’t have many and the ones we do have were bought for our children. I think Mozart and I maybe bout 2 toys in our lives as parents and they were for last Christmas.

We also don’t like toys that make noise. So we only have 1 toy that does that and I turn it off 6 out of 7 days a week, lol.
